Incipit came to WZ Designs with a name and a product idea but no visual identity to hold either together. The brief called for a system that felt architecturally grounded: minimal, precise, and built with evident craft intent. Not a brand that decorates, but one that means something.
WZ Designs built the complete identity from scratch: wordmark construction, typographic system, colour palette, and the full set of brand guidelines that govern how the mark behaves across surfaces. Every decision was made with the product in mind.
Running in parallel, WZ Designs developed the hero furniture piece: a modular shelving unit conceived as both a functional object and a brand statement. The product and identity were designed together so neither feels like an afterthought. A brand that shows up with the same confidence in print, on screen, and in a room.
